Ajanta & Ellora caves significance in terms religion, art and sculptures. You can see a mixture of Buddhist and Jain architecture. Beside this you will also explore the Elephanta and Aurangabad caves.

Day 1: Your arrival to Mumbai

The long flight and finally you arrive at Mumbai. The efficient welcome by our staff will definitely make you comfortable and drive to the hotel.

Day 2: Mumbai to Aurangabad

Hanging Gardens - MumbaiThe city is always ready to welcome everyone. After breakfast you will meet our representative and will get introduced to the guide. Explore the art and sculpture of the Elephanta Caves where history remains from the Gupta period. Few other important interesting places you can explore depending on the flight time that you will prefer. You can visit the Flora Fountain, Chowpatty Beach & Juhu Beach, Hanging Gardens and The Prince of Wales Museum.


You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Aurangabad. On arrival transfer to the hotel.

Day 3: Aurangabad (Excursion to Ajanta Caves)

Ajanta CavesAfter breakfast day for you to explore the famous Ajanta Caves which dates back to 2nd century BC. You will be amazed to see the interiors of the caves with oil paintings and scriptures symbolic to Mahayana sect of Buddhism. The caves are masterpieces of Buddhist art and have been given the status of World Heritage Site.

Drive back to the hotel and stay overnight at Aurangabad






Day 4: Aurangabad (Excursion to Ellora)

Ellora CavesBreakfast and proceed with the same guide to explore the Ellora Caves. The 12 Buddhist caves at Ellora and each rock cut caves are symbol of the finest architecture of Buddhist times combined with Buddhist, Hindu and Jain art. The caves are the oldest forts of India till date. Explore the Dulatabad Forts built around 11th century AD and reveals some mystery of these surviving caves.


You drive back to the hotel to pack your bags and drive to the railway station to board your train for Aurangabad. Overnight on board


Day 5: Arrival Mumbai- Flight back home

With your arrival to Mumbai in the morning you are free to explore the city on your own, or do some last minute shopping.
