Buddhist Sikkim Tour takes you to the beautiful hill station of Darjeeling and Gangtok. Many great Buddhist monasteries are located on these exotic hill station and has homed number of Buddhist monks who had come from Tibet during the Chinese invasion.

Duration : 06 Nights - 07 Days
Destination : Delhi - Darjeeling - Kalimpong - Gangtok

Day 01: Delhi Arrival

You will be escorted by our representative to the hotel which would be booked for you in advance. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing

Delhi Buddhism with Lotus Temple After breakfast enjoy a Delhi City Tour with our guide. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple, and Lotus Temple. After lunch, we would take your to the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Gandhi Memorial.
Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi - Bagdogra - Darjeeling

Go Heritage India Journeys will escort you from the hotel to the Delhi Airport to Bagdogra Airport. Our representative will be there to welcome you at the airport. Drive to Darjeeling enroute drive past the Mirik Lake and Nepal border. The drive would be memorable as the scenic landscapes of mountains will pass by your side. On arrival take the hotel and rest. After dinner stay overnight.

Day 04: Sightseeing at Darjeeling

Happy Valley Tea Garden DarjeelingStart you morning with a cup of Darjeeling tea enormously famous in Darjeeling and around the world. We would offer you to have an enjoyable ride in a Toy Train. An excellent opportunity to see the beautiful mountain with the cliff on one side and the tall pine trees on the other. The other places to visit are the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Happy Valley Tea Garden, Refugee Self Help center of Tibet. It is also perfect place to buy hand made handicrafts for your family.
Have your dinner, and stay overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 5: Darjeeling - Kalimpong (50 kms)
Early morning visit the Tiger Hill, to get a clear view of the Himalayas. On your way back visit the Ghoom Monastery. On returning back to the hotel, we would take you to the Thonga Goma Monastery and Deolo Hill. Later drive to Kalimpong famous fabulous sunrise and the sunset. Have your dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: Kalimpong - Gankgtok
Gankgtok Buddhist MonasteryHave your breakfast and you would start the day by taking a ride towards Gangtok a beautiful hill-station of Sikkim. The monasteries are the main attractions of this place. Rumtek and Enchey Monastery, Chorten, a tall ancient structured stupa and the Research institute of Tibetology are the major sites to capture.

Visit to Rumtek Monastery is indeed an experience. It was established by the 9th Karamapa Wangchuk Dorje in the 16th century and is the largest in Sikkim. Stay overnight at hotel after dinner.

Day 7: Gangtok - Bagdogra - Delhi
Morning after breakfast drive to the Bagdogra airport for your flight to Delhi. On arrival connect your flight back home
