Destination : Delhi - Patna - Rajgir - Bodhgaya - Varanasi - Sarnath - Kushinagar - Lumbini - Lucknow - Delhi

Day 1: Arrival at Delhi

Delhi Buddhist Lotus Temple Tour The tour begins right from your arrival at Delhi Airport. On arrival you will be given an Indian hospitality by our travel representative and be assisted to the hotel for two nights to enjoy the hues of Delhi as per your India Buddhist Tour Itinerary.

Guests then will spend the night at the hotel relaxing in order to have new vigor for next day extended tour of Delhi under this tour to Buddhist sites in India.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

On the 2nd day the tour begins with the Delhi sightseeing post breakfast. Embark on a tour of famous attractions including Delhi Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Jama Maszid, Qutub Minar, Birla Mandir and Lotus Temple Rajghat Gandhi Memorial, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Parliament of India.

Come back to hotel, relax and enjoy a delicious dine. Overnight stay.

Day 3: Delhi - Patna

The 3rd day morning you will be transferred to Delhi Airport to board flight to Patna the starting point of Buddhist tour in India. On arrival you will be welcome by our travel rep and assisted to the pre-book hotel for a night stay.

Later visit Vaishali the place where Lord Buddha declared his Nirvana and preached his last sermon. The Buddhist sites also include the relics, remains, arts, sculptures, and stupas to be cherished. The chief attractions include Buddha's last mortal remains and Ashok Pillar erected by King Ashoka.

Day 4: Patna - Rajgir

Buddhist Shanti Stupa in Rajgir Patna India Buddhist Tour will commence with a yummy breakfast and a 3 hrs drive to Rajgir the ancient capital of Magadha city. This region is legendary for being the well-regarded Buddhist destination. The major attraction includes Gridhrakula, Saptaparni Cave, Ajatsatru Fort and Venuvana.

Day 5: Rajgir - Bodhgaya

On 5th drive to Bodhgaya the sacred place of pilgrimage where Lord Buddha attained supreme enlightenment. Enjoy the serene scenery, rock cut Buddhist temples, caves depicting Buddhist cultures, and stay of two nights.

Day 6: Bodhgaya Tour

On the 6th day capture the spiritual shrine of Bodhgaya the Mecca of Buddhism where the Lord Buddha's Enlightenment was accomplished has now been a spiritual home of Buddhist followers. The major attractions of Bodhgaya India Buddhist Tour include Mahabodhi tree, Satabodhi Temple, Japanese and Tibetan monasteries and the Magadha University museum. After day’s excursion come back to the hotel late in the evening and relax overnight.

Day 7: Bodhgaya - Varanasi
Wake up early morning relish on a scrumptious breakfast and embark on next Buddhist destination in India, Varanasi the holy city of India. At Varanasi the oldest cultural center stage and city you will arrive at afternoon and assisted to the hotel. Late in the afternoon pay a visit to the holy Ghats (banks) of sacred River Ganges, temples nearby also the famous Benares Hindu University.

Day 8: Varanasi - Sarnath
Buddhist Sarnath Stupa Varanasi On the 8th day wake up before sunrise to witness the amazing sunrise at holy river Ganges offering prayers to Sun God and later take a dip in the holy river Ganga. Come back to hotel enjoy breakfast and embark on a tour for Sarnath the Mecca of Buddhist followers. The major attractions of Sarnath are Kondanna. Dhamek Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, Chaukhandi Stupa.

Day 9: Varanasi - Kushinagar
On the 9th day have breakfast and drive to Kushinagar the place where Lord Buddha took his last breathes. Kushinagar is the consecrated death-place of Lord Buddha where Buddha had passed into Parinirvana. The main monuments include Ramabha Stupa standing on the place where Buddha was cremated; Natha Kumarka Kot sainting the large figure of Buddha Mahaparinirvana Stupa is enclosed by wreckings of ancient monasteries.

Day 10: Kushinagar - Lumbini
On the 10th day visit Lumbini the birth place of Lord Buddha. Emperor Ashoka builds the Pillar of Lord’s teachings at the spot of Lord's birth. Also visit some of the famous Buddhist shrines such as Balrampur and Sravasti and then return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11: Lumbini - Lucknow - Delhi - Departure
This India Buddhist Tour comes to an end as the guests will be transferred to Lucknow and for there on they will board flight to Delhi for journey to onward destination.
